James Everett Nichol was born Feb. 8, 1923 to Roscoe Everett and Frances Deklotz Nichol. He died Feb. 14, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Lt. Nichol served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 23rd Fighter Squadron, 36th Fighter Group and was KIA over Germany and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
