AT SCOTT FIELD
Pvt. Stanley Newman, son of Roy Newman of this city, has enrolled at Scott Field, training command radio school. At the completion of training there, he will be qualified for further duty as a radio technician.
Before entering the service, he attended Lincoln high and was graduated with the Class of 1944.

Stanley Elvin Newman was born Aug. 22, 1926 to Roy and Nellie A. Caquelin Newman. He died Apr. 2, 1985 in Sacramento, CA.
Pvt. Newman served with the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 78th AAF Base Unit, Sheppard Field, TX.
