Herbert Franklin Neighbors was born Sept. 27, 1909 to Charles H. and Nancy Elizabeth Barnes Neighbors. He died Aug. 7, 1983 and is buried in Carson Cemetery, Carson, IA.
Sgt. Neighbors served in World War II with the U.S. Army.
