Cecil Phillip Monahan was born July 19, 1924 to Phillip H. and Marjorie May Monahan. He died May 14, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 7, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Cpl. Monahan served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 25th Bomber Squadron, 40th Bomber Group, Very Heavy and was MIA/KIA over Tinian, Marianas Islands and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
