Edward Payson Myers was born Sept. 7, 1916 to Clifton Otha and Fay E. Ellsworth Myers. He died Dec. 30, 1942 and is buried in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Liberty, IA.
Major Myers served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 401st Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force and was KIA in the western European area.
