Raymond Doctor “Docie” Morrison was born in 1919 to John Wesley Stuart and Mary Frances Dean Morrison. He died July 15, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France and has a cenotaph at Bethel Cemetery, Williamson, IA
Pvt. Morrison served in World War II with the U.S. Army 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division and was KIA in and was awarded the Purple Heart.
