Private Phil J. Montgomery, 916 W. Sixth Street, former professional boxer here, has been assigned to the 31st flight squadron at Jefferson barracks, Missouri. He enlisted in the army air corps May 5, at Chicago. Private Montgomery was graduated from Central high school in 1931.
