Robert Loami Monteith was born Jan. 8, 1917 to James W. and Sylvia A. Allison Monteith. He died Mar. 2, 1945 and is buried in Southlawn Cemetery, Seymour, IA.
Capt. Monteith served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was KIA in the Southwest Pacific area.
