Harland Hermann Friedrich Mittag was born Aug. 4, 1913 to August and Emma Mittag. He died Oct. 6, 1944 and is buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Myrtle, MN.
Pvt. Mittag served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry, 34th Division and died in the service of his country.
