Pfc. Darrell J. Mishler is spending a 30-day furlough with his wife Edith at 321 W. Sixth Street. He was with the 35th division of the 137th infantry. He wears the Silver Star, the Purple Heart, the good conduct medal, the European theater ribbon with five battle stars and the combat infantryman’s badge. He has just returned from 18 months of duty in the European theater. After his furlough he will report to the Jefferson barracks, Mo., separation center.
