Our Men in Service
Four men from the Sioux City area have been inducted into the army at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. They include Merle W. Miller of Sergeant Bluff, Vernon O’Meara of Oto, Jerry L. Larkin of Moville and LeRoy E. Quintard of Lawton.

Merle W. Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Miller, Denison Highway, has been promoted to the rank of corporal. Corporal Miller is stationed in southern California.
