Lester W. Meier was born Mar. 11, 1921 to John and Josie M. Meier. He died Aug. 2, 1943 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Pvt. Meier served in World War II with the U.S. Army 400th Coast Artillery Battalion and died in North Africa while in the service of his country.
