Elmer Glenn Meier was born Aug. 2, 1919 to Walter Charles and Ida Margaret Pohl Meier. He died Aug. 25, 1944 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Manson, IA.
Pvt. Meier served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died in Sansapor, Dutch New Guinea as a result of scrub typhus.
