Orion Glenn McManis was born Dec. 7, 1923 to Lee R. and Adele Barbara “Della" Loewenstein McManis. He died Dec. 25, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Pvt. McManis served in World War II with the U.S. Army 262nd Infantry Regiment, 66th Infantry Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
