H. McCoskey, W.C. Plumber, Dies at Home
Henry (Hank) McCoskey, 37, Webster City plumbing shop operator, died at 5:15 a.m., today at his home, 202 Third street, following an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Foster funeral home. The Rev. J. A. Farnham and the Rev. J. J. Share, Bradgate, will officiate, with burial being in Graceland cemetery.

Henry Harold McCoskey, son of Clinton and Letitia McCoskey, was born Sept. 2, 1913 at Webster City. He attended the Webster City schools and grew to young manhood in this community. He served his plumbing apprenticeship with the L. V. Mills Co., starting there in 1936 and being employed there for several years.
He was united in marriage June 12, 1937, to Miss Margaret Davis. He entered the armed service in April, 1945, but prior to that he was engaged in defense work in Newfoundland and later in Idaho. While in the army engineer corps, he served as a plumbing instructor at Fort Lewis, Wash.
Mr. McCoskey was discharged in July, 1946, and in 1947 was employed by the Iowa Plumbing Co., at Fort Dodge. In October, 1947, he opened his own plumbing shop in Webster City, and had operated it since.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Bryan Davis McCoskey, 9 and Monte Alan, four months. Also surviving are his father, Clinton McCoskey of this city; two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Carl (Gladis) Ewing of Webster City; Mrs. C. A. (Evelyn) Rowh of Netro, W. Va; Ted McCoskey of Des Moines and Lester of Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one sister.
Active in Church—
Mr. McCoskey bas baptized in the Methodist faith and was a member of the Methodist church in this city.
He was very active in church work and especially in the Methodist men’s organization. He was a member of the American Legion.
A friendly, neighborly man, Mr. McCoskey had made many friends during his residence in Webster City and in his business associations. His home and his family were his main interests in life.
