John Anthony McAndrew was born Dec. 11, 1914 to Anthony M. McAndrew and Margaret M. O’Brien McAndrew. He died Aug. 21, 1943 and is buried in the Catholic Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.
Sgt. McAndrew served in World War II with the U.S. Army Coast Artillery and died in the Latin America area while in the service of his country.
