Richard Eugene Matthews was born Apr. 26, 1926 to Clarence Russell ‘Russell’ and Irene M. Baughman Matthews. He died Sept. 20, 1994 and is buried in Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn, ME.
Richard served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II with Co. C, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Division.
