James Marion Marchellino was born Nov. 6, 1923 to Guiseppe “Joseph” and Grace E. Weeks Marchellino. He died Dec. 25, 1942 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Pvt. Marchellino served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. F, 127th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Infantry Division and died in New Guinea while in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
