Lawrence LeRoy Mackey was born Dec. 24, 1920 to Joe and Sylvia Lyle Mackey. He died Mar. 16, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Hamm, Luxembourg.
Pvt. Mackey served in World War II with the U.S. Army 301st Infantry Regiment, 94th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
