Victor Charles Lundgren, Jr. was born Dec. 25, 1918 to Victor Charles (Sr.) and Ayleen E. Gaul Lundgren. He died July 24, 1942 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Pvt. Lundgren served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and became a POW on Corregidor and was sent to Cabanatuan POW Camp where he died of malaria and deprivation. He was initially buried at Cabanatuan POW Camp and returned to the U.S. in 1949.
