Edmund John Lorenz was born Oct. 3, 1915 to Frank E. and Anna M. Kopia Lorenz. He died June 6, 1944 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Lt. Lorenz served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Sixth Ferrying Command, Long Beach, CA and died near Santa Rosa, New Mexico, while in the service of his country.
