Edward Warren Lonnes was born Nov. 2, 1923 to Edwin J. and Clara Amanda Cackler Lonnes. He died Nov. 30, 1943 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Pvt. Lonnes served in World War II with the U.S. Army 1st Ranger Battalion and was KIA in Italy in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
