93 Iowans on Army-Navy Casualty List
The names of 93 more Iowans were included in an army and navy casualty report made public Monday by the Office of War Information. Twenty are listed as dead, 62 wounded and 11 missing. The list follows:

Another Soldier from Wayne Co Killed in Action
Leroy Longley Falls Victim of Enemy in Fighting in Germany
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Longley of Centerville received word Sunday that their son, LeRoy, had been killed in action in Germany April 7. The Longleys are former residents, as they lied a mile south of Corydon. Pfc. Longley had been in the service about a year. LeRoy is a brother of Mrs. Orlen Dorsey, who lives east of Corydon and a brother of Bernard Longley, who has recently received a discharge from the army.

Eugene L. Longley was born Jan. 7, 1926 to Earl and Bessie Mishler Longley. He died Apr. 7, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Pvt. Longley served in World War II with the U.S. Army 261st Infantry Regiment, 65th Infantry Division and was KIA in Struth, Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
