Pvt. Donald D. Liska

 

 

FAMILY OFFERS 4 -- Mr. and Mrs. John Liska of Garner have 3 sons and 1 daughter serving their country in the great conflict. Doris D., storekeeper 2/c in the WAVES, is stationed at the Great Lakes naval training station at Chicago. Pvt. Donald D. Liska is serving in the Philippines and New Guinea. Pfc. Leo G. Liska has been in battle since D-Day and is now with the 9th army in Germany. Cpl. Walter J. Liska is in the Philippines with the 33rd division after serving in New Guinea and the East Indies.

Donald Dale Liska was born Feb. 27, 1922 to John and Mary Eleanor Chizek Liska. He died Sept. 25, 1986 and is buried in Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, IA.
