Richard Lyle Lint was born Aug. 23, 1924 to William Franklin and Margaret Grace Lint. He died Nov. 1, 1943 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Shellsburg, IA.
Pvt. Lint served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and was KIA during landing operations Blue Beach 3 Bougainville, He was initially buried in the USAF Cemetery on Bougainville and returned to the US for permanent burial in 1949.
