The Hulstein relatives held a family gathering at the Raymond Hulstein home on Monday evening to bid farewell to two of their boys, Gerald Bosch and John Lihudis who are both leaving for the army on Thursday. Both of the boys were presented with a billfold.

Pvt. John Lihudis, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lihudis entered the service recently and is stationed at the following location: 76th Trn. Bn. 2nd Plt., 16th Reg. Co. D., Camp J. T. Robinson, Ark.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mulder and Mrs. George Lihudis left for Camp Robinson, Ark. early Saturday morning, where they will visit their sons, Pvt. James Mulder and Pvt. John Lihudis, who are both stationed there.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mulder, Mrs. Geo. Lihudis and Gt. James returned Tuesday night from Camp Robinson, Arkansas where they visited James E. Mulder and John Lihudis. Washouts all along the way caused considerable delay on their return trip. The boys are getting along fine, tho they find the damp heat of the climate a bit oppressive at times.

Pvt. John Lihudis, who is now stationed at Camp Forrest, Tenn. has spent the past week in the army hospital but is now recuperating. Several Xrays were taken but they have not found the cause of his illness.

Receives Honorable Discharge From The Army

Pvt. John Lihudis, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lihudis, returned home from Camp Forrest, Tenn. on Thursday morning after having received an honorable discharge from army services due to having ulcers of the stomach. John was in the army for six months and spent the past six weeks in the army hospital.
