Earnest Albert Lewman was born Aug. 18, 1914 to L. C. and Jessie B. Tolley Lewman. He died July 27, 1944 and is buried in Friends Cemetery, Richland, IA.
Pvt. Lewman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. E, 23rd Infantry, 2nd Division and was KIA in France.
