Loyd Everett Lewis was born Dec. 16, 1919 to Willie D. and Etta Williams Lewis. He died July 17, 1944 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Creston, IA.
Pvt. Lewis served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. F, 133rd Infantry, 34th Division and was KIA in Italy.
