Herbert Sherman Larson was born Dec. 15, 1923 to Sherman Ira and Mabel Elvina Swenson Larson. He died Oct. 3, 1986 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Story City, IA.
Herbert served with the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the USS Chincoteaque (AVP-24).
