Leroy A. Larsen was born Sept. 20, 1924 to George K. and Mable W. Larsen. He died Mar. 18, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Sgt. Larsen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 53rd Infantry Battalion, 4th Armored Division and was KIA near Bad Kreuznach, Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
