Bernard M. Lane was born Nov. 11, 1914 to Patrick Martin and Margaret Tresa Hassett Lane. He died Dec. 9, 1944 and is buried in Saint Anns Catholic Cemetery, Denison, IA.
Pvt. Lane served in World War II with the U.S. Army Corps of Military Police and died as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident while in the service of his country in the Central Pacific area.
