Clifford Charles Lamphiear was born Jan. 3, 1916 to Clifford and Mary Lamphiear. He died June 28, 1944 and is buried in Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington, IA.
Pvt. Lamphiear served in World War II with Co. K, 106th Infantry Regiment, 27th Infantry Division and was KIA on Saipan. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
