Gilbert O. Kemmann was born Nov. 17, 1916 to Paul Henry and Clara Maragretha Dorothea Katherine Hoeltje Kemmann. He died Feb. 28, 1944
1st Lt. Kemmann served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 551st Bomber Squadron, 385th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA in France and was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
