80 Kossuth Men Officially Listed As Casualties In War
FIRST RELEASE OF STATE HISTORICAL DEATH SUMMARIES
Eighty men from Kossuth county lost their lives while in the service of their country in World War II.

Omer Anthony Kelly was born Oct. 13, 1916 to Joseph W. and Mary Carey Kelly. He died Aug. 3, 1944 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Algona, IA.
Chief Specialist Kelly served in World War II with the U.S. Navy V-12 Naval Unit.
