Richard T. Kell was born Sept. 10, 1917 to Eugene D. and Florence E. Vette Kell. He died Aug. 31, 1945 and is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Marengo, IA.
Sgt. Kell served in World War II with the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps and died in a vehicle accident while serving his country near Asmara, Eritrea, Africa.
