Herbert H. Kasemeier was born Jan. 24, 1921 to Carl Ebel and Harriet Wilson Kasemeier. He died Aug. 12, 1983 and is buried in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls, IA. Sgt. Kasemeier served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theaters.
