Thomas H. Joyce was born Oct. 8, 1923 to Floyd E. and Helen Marguerite Hutchins Joyce. He died Dec. 30, 1944 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Flight Officer Joyce served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 457th Squadron, 330th Bomber Group and died at Walker Army Air Field, VIctoria, KS, in the crash of a plane on which he served as a crew member (navigator).
