Seymour Irwin Johnson was born Aug. 16, 1917 to Edward and Thora Johnson. He died Mar. 29, 1943 and is buried in the North Africa American Cemetery and Memorial, Carthage, Tunis, Tunisia.
Pvt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army with the 60th Infantry, 9th Division and was KIA. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and Purple Heart.
