Lloyd Irwin Johnson was born July 7, 1926 to Orville and Lulu Lawrence Johnson. He died Aug. 27, 2018 and is buried in Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Sgt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 21st Infantry as an Ammunition Bearer, Mortar Gunner, and Squad Leader. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, the Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal Japan, and the World War II Victory Medal.
