FIRST RELEASE OF STATE HISTORICAL DEATH SUMMARIES
Eighty men from Kossuth county lost their lives while in the service of their country in World War II.

Glen C. Johnson was born July 21, 1915 to Charles and Georgina Emily Parker Johnson. He died Apr. 14, 1945 and is buried in Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.
Pvt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 86th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division and was MIA/KIA in Italy and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
