Alton Kenneth Johnson was born Nov. 30, 1912 to Julius and Hilda Halvorson Johnson. He died Feb. 10, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium.
Pvt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 22nd Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany and was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
