Glenn Adolph Johndahl was born June 11, 1910 to John E. and Cora L. Smith Johndahl. He died Dec. 24, 1945 and is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ruthven, IA.
Sgt. Johndahl served in World War II with the U.S. Army 256th Field Artillery and and died in Germany of injuries received in a vehicle accident when the Weapons Carrier in which he was riding plunged down a thirty foot cliff onto a railroad bed, pinning him under the vehicle.
