William Allison Jeffers was born Aug. 2, 1923 to Pearl and Irene O. Wilsey Jeffers. He died Feb. 25, 1945 and is buried in Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA. He was initially buried in Belgium.
Sgt. Jeffers served in World War II with the U.S. Army 346th Infantry, 87th Division and was KIA in Germany.
