Iowa Honor Roll
These Iowans, like those pictured here on previous Sundays, have given their lives for their country. They were fatally wounded in combat or died in prison camps. The fourth line under each name designates the war area in which the man last served.

Franklin Arnold Jaspers was born Oct. 25, 1914 to Harm and Kate Venenga Jaspers. He died Nov. 26, 1942 and is buried in Wellsburg Reformed Church Cemetery, Wellsburg, IA.
Pvt. Jaspers served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. K, 126th Infantry and was KIA IN Buna, New Guinea in the Southwest Pacific area.
