Vernon F. Holtorf was born June 8, 1920 to Arthur and Maria Anna Emma “Mamie” Keller Holtorf. He died Dec. 14, 1942 and is buried in Saint Clair Cemetery, Ute, IA.
Pvt. Holtorf served in World War II with the U.S. Army 126th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Division and was KIA in New Guinea.
