Nora Springs - Mrs. John R. Hofler of Mason City received the first word from her husband, M/Sgt John Hofler, informing her that he had arrived safely in England. Sgt. Hofler, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Hofler of Nora Springs, left the states about a month ago. He is with the railway battalion.
