IN UNIFORM.
Petty Officer First Class Max Hoffer, merchant marine, is spending a leave at his home, 1109 Pierce street, after serving four months convoy duty which took him to Murmansk, Russia. Officer Hoffer enlisted January 28, 1943, and has been to Africa, Sicily, Italy, England and Russia.
