Maynard Harrison Higby was born Feb. 16, 1926 to Ernest Earl and Imo Mozelle Janeway Higby. He died Sept. 16, 1944 and is buried in Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg, IA.
Pvt. Higby served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 3706th Base Unit, Sheppard Field, TX and died there, of illness, while in the service of his country.
