Odie Guss Herbst was born Jan. 29, 1915 to Gustavus Herman “Guss” and Kathryn Carolena “Katie" Arbuck Herbst. He died May 12, 1992 and is buried in Resthaven Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
Odie served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
