Jean Stanley Hansen was born Feb. 22, 1922 to Clayton Franklin and Helene Dorothy Fawcett Hanson. He died July 19, 1945 and is buried in Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, IA.
2nd Lt. Hansen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 9th Combat Cargo Squadron and died when his plane crashed as a result of engine failure near Myitkyina, Burma.
